Shrewsbury Town have signed midfielder Jim O’Brien on a two-year contract following his departure from Coventry.
The 28-year-old had not appeared for the Sky Blues since February, having spent time on loan at Scunthorpe.
The Scot, who underwent an operation on his groin at the end of last season, has also had stints with Celtic, Motherwell and Barnsley.
“I have been working really hard to get back and I am feeling good now,” he told the Shrewsbury website.[1]
