Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has warned his squad to be prepared for an end-to-end encounter ahead of the Champions League clash against Roma tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Los Blancos won the first leg of the tie in Rome, but Zidane insists that concentration and focus are crucial as the Giallorossi can still have their say in the clash.
“It is not going to be an easy game, it will be very difficult,” Zidane said to the press ahead of the game. “We will have to play at our best and play an attacking game.
“We feel the pressure of the fans wanting us to win the Champions League, but we have to focus on tomorrow’s game, thinking that it is the most important of the season.
“In football nothing is impossible. We will have to go out there and control the match.
“Every game is a new story, every game has to be played at the same level. If we don’t stay focused we could lose and be eliminated.”
Zidane also spoke about the rumours suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of the Bernabeu come the summer.
“I am aware that Cristiano has been criticised and booed by some supporters,” he added. “But I am the coach and I want him to stay. I was booed too during my career, it’s something that happens to every player”.

Real Madrid are currently third in the La Liga table, 12 points behind the league leaders, Barcelona.
