After one season in the big apple, Jo Inge Berget might be on his way out.
According to Daniel Kristoffersson of Expressen, the NYCFC striker would like to return to Scandinavia with Norwegian outfit Molde and Swedish side Malmo interested in his signature. He spent most of his career between the two clubs prior to joining NYCFC.

Berget, 28, appeared in 23 matches for NYCFC in 2018, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists as the club finished third in the Eastern Conference. He made 104 appearances for Malmo (with 38 goals and 20 assists) and 89 matches with Molde (23 goals and 21 assists).
Following David Villa’s departure, Berget is currently the lone center forward on the roster.
